据悉，韩国大林工业公司和大宇工程及建设公司周五表示，双方已经于9月17日与沙特阿美旗下子公司S-Oil公司签署一份价值3.5万亿韩元(30.2亿美元)的合同，将为后者建设一个石化联合体。大林工业和大宇工程及建设公司早在今年5月份就已经收到为S-Oil在韩国蔚山新建渣油改质联合体和烯烃生产联合体的意向书。大林工业的合约价值占据1.933万亿韩元，或占55%，而大宇公司的合约价值1.581万亿韩元，或占45%。

Daelim and Daewoo sign contracts with S-Oil to build petchem plants

Daelim Industrial (Seoul) and Daewoo Engineering & Construction (Seoul) on Friday said that on 17 September they signed firm contracts with S-Oil (Seoul), a Saudi Aramco subsidiary, worth 3.5 trillion South Korean won ($3.02 billion) to build a petrochemicals complex for S-Oil. Daelim and Daewoo in May received letters of intent to build S-Oil’s residue upgrading complex and an olefins production complex at Ulsan, South Korea. Daelim’s share of the order, at won1.933 trillion, is 55% and that of Daewoo, whose contract amounts to won1.581 trillion, the remaining 45%.

Under the terms of the contracts, the engineering companies will provide the design and project management on a lumpsum basis and procurement and construction on a cost-plus-fee basis. The work is scheduled to be completed in April 2018.
